Three photographs of Mike Fisher who played for the Alta baseball team in 1884. 1) Original 1884 cabinet photograph of Alta is the earliest photograph discovered in the collection. Photo is by Gregory of Sacramento, California. Pencil marks on verso from publishing, overall GD-VG. About 6.5x4". 2) Invitation to 1937 Deals Stadium reunion of the Champion Tacoma Tigers. Opens up to reveal team photo of the 'ole Tigers. Mike Fisher has arranged the reunion and written the invitation. 4.5x7.5". EX. 3) Silver gelatin print taken from this very cabinet photo around 1910. 7x10" and has some creasing. 4) Small image taken from this cabinet photo and dated stamped December 12, 1932 when published in the Examiner. 5.5x2.5" and EX-MT. Original newspaper article affixed to verso. We cannot make out the meaning of the article but with research you could easily look in the original newspaper and discover Fisher's significance.
