Mike Shannon Home Run Baseballs w/1964 World Series (3)
Each of these beauties is an actual home run baseball hit by Mike Shannon of the St. Louis Cardinals, and is decorated with black and red printing that details the homer and the game. 1) 1964 World Series Game 1; hit in the 6th inning off of Whitey Ford, it tied the score and is considered a very important home run in the series that the Cardinals went on to win. 2) Shannon's first ever ML homer, hit on September 11, 1963, off of Dick Ellsworth. 3) Mike Shannon's 9th Major League homer, hit on September 24, 1964, vs. the Pirates in the second game of a double-header. All are Official League balls and show nice use, with the colorful writing adding to the display value.
