Mike Tyson Medal From Jim Jacobs' Desk
Jim Jacobs co-managed heavyweight champ Mike Tyson and was himself a celebrated athlete, having achieved success as a handball titlist. This bronze-colored medal shows Tyson's image raised, with the words: "MIKE TYSON ULTIMATE WORLD CHAMPION" on the front and "GLORY HALLELUJAH MIKE TYSON WBC, WBA, IBF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION AUGUST 1, 1987" written on the back. The medal is four inches in diameter and has a wood base with name plate attached. It sat on Jacobs' desk prior to his death in 1988.
