Mike Tyson Prison Letters & "Do You Think You Can Handle This" Signed Photograph

Mike Tyson Prison Letters & "Do You Think You Can Handle This" Signed Photograph

After being convicted of rape in 1992, Mike Tyson was imprisoned for three years in Indianapolis. Inmate 922335, as he was known, wrote this letter on November 16, 1993, to a woman named Shannon while incarcerated in his 8-by-10-foot cell. The hand-written letter in its original envelope comes with a photo that was signed, plus an unsigned photo of him and Shannon. Also includes a second letter and envelope dated 8/93 in which Tyson asks again for her phone number and more photos. Perhaps this is one of the pictures Iron Mike implored her to send in this brief note. The letters are signed in ink with his full name, the photo simply "Love Mike." Envelopes both show wear. Letters are written on lined loose leaf paper and exhibit the original folds.
