Mike Tyson defended his World Heavyweight Title against former champion Larry Holmes on January 22, 1988, in Atlantic City. The fight was competitive for three rounds, but in the fourth Tyson went to work, dropping Holmes and stopping him. Offered here is a set of training pants and shirt used by Tyson while training for this fight. Black in color and tagged Frank Shorter Sports Wear, Size L, these are similar to tights. They show wear, but are perfectly intact. Pants have a drawstring waist. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Tyson's assistant manager at the time, Steve Lott, who took possession of the outfit when Tyson was done with it. Also comes with a photo taken by Steve Lott showing Tyson wearing the outfit during training camp.
