Mike Tyson Used Boxing Mouthpiece

Mike Tyson Used Boxing Mouthpiece

Original mouthpiece used by Iron Mike Tyson with its yellow carry box. The mouthpiece was obtained from the girlfriend of Cus D'Amato, who was Tyson's adoptive father and mentor. Tyson learned the Peek-a-Boo style from D'Amato who would help Tyson develop into one of the most intimidating fighters and the first undisputed heavyweight champion, owning all three major heavyweight belts. He would later become notorious for his actions during Tyson vs. Holyfield II where he bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear. His boxing career would never recover but Tyson will always be remembered as one of the fiercest fighters in boxing history.
