Miller Huggins and Tony Lazzeri Signed Baseball Cut (PSA)

Miller Huggins and Tony Lazzeri Signed Baseball Cut (PSA)

Offered is a Miller Huggins and Tony Lazzeri signed baseball cut, apparently from an Official American League Ball that had been team-signed by the 1927 New York Yankees, World Champions famous for the "Murderers' Row" line-up. Hall of Fame manager Miller Huggins was the Yankee skipper from 1918-1929. He won six American League pennants and three World Series as the Yankee manager. Listed as 5'6", Huggins was really only 5'1"-5-2", and his small stature was a detriment in gaining respect from his players, yet Huggins was a successful manager who eventually even earned the respect of Babe Ruth, a tough man to manage. Also signing the cut is Tony Lazzeri, the Hall of Fame second baseman on the '27 Yankees. Lazzeri played 12 seasons with the Yankees, with a lifetime batting average of .292 and 178 career home runs. Lazzeri was a part of the Murderers Row lineup that included Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. The cut from the baseball measures approx. 1.5x2". The cut baseball skin shows some wear, darkening, and some small folds. The Huggins and Lazzeri signatures exhibit fading from the passage of time, and they are faintly legible. The cut signatures have been encapsulated and PSA/DNA certified as AUTHENTIC AUTO. The cut signatures give a connection to the 1927 Yankees, considered by some as the greatest baseball team of all time.
