Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Bust
One of Missouri's adopted sons - Red Schiendienst - is commemorated in this nearly 11-inch-tall bronze bust by acclaimed sculptor Harry Weber was completed in 2005 and is signed by the artist. Presented to the Hall of Fame second baseman and longtime Cardinal, the plaque on the base reads: "RED SCHOENDIENST MISSOURI SPORTS HALL OF FAME," It is in NRMT condition and would look splendid on any display counter, shelf or even desk. Though born in neighboring Illinois, Red came up through the Cardinals organization and enjoyed his greatest success with the Redbirds.
