The finest collection of Pacific Coast League photographs ever sold if not one of the finest collections extant. The majority of these are oversized local SF Examiner prints hence they were only available from that source. In fact many of theses may be the only ones in existence. Many are from the 1920s and '30s. All the great teams of the PCL are here: Portland Beavers, Salt Lake Bees, LA Angels, Hollywood Stars, San Francisco Seals, Sacramento Solons, Oakland Oaks, San Diego Padres, Mission Reds, Seattle Indians (to name a few), and many of the obscure team names and uniform styles that are just as obscure. Many by the great photographers like De Wan Studios, Carroll Photos & Leland Green. There are some smaller pieces and there is in-painting. Overall VG-EX condition and outstanding contrast.
