Muhammad Ali Signed Items (13)
This lot includes 13 items. There are three signed tickets: the Muhammad Ali vs. Ken Norton fight in '73 in San Diego, the Ali vs. Leon Spinks fight in '78 at the Vegas Hilton, and the earliest, a Gold Press ticket advertising the Cassius Clay vs. Alejandro Lavorante fight in '62 in L.A.. All three tickets are preserved in plexiglass. Also included is a watch box and wristwatch. The wooden box has a black and white photo, like a picture frame, of Ali standing over the knocked out Sonny Liston. Ali signed this in silver marker, and the bottom right corner shows it's #273/7500. The inside of the box reveals a certificate of authenticity, the watch, and its case. The face of the watch says "Muhammad Ali, 3 Time World Champion". Also included in this lot are: two Rawlings Official (White and Coleman, Jr.) baseballs signed by Ali, a complete set of eight lobby cards from the film "The Greatest", a signed front page of Sports Illustrated from 1964, a 35th Anniversary copy of Sports Illustrated, the biography (autographed on the inside) "Muhammad Ali, His Life and Time" by Thomas Hauser, a framed 1980 cover of Sports Illustrated, an autographed t-shirt of Fight Night II, and a red Everlast boxing glove with Ali's signature in gold pen.
