Muhammad Ali Signed Oversized Photograph by Neil Leifer - from Biographer Thomas Hauser (PSA/DNA)
Muhammad Ali won the controversial fight on May 25, 1965, defending his World Heavyweight Championship title for the first time against the man he had won it from a little over a year earlier, Sonny Liston. Ali stopped Liston in the first round of that bout and this is an original, large format, limited edition photograph of both combatants in the ring, taken by noted sports photographer Neil Leifer from an overhead position. This magnificent shot taken from Leifer's original negative is 20x24" and has been boldly signed by both Leifer and Muhammad Ali. A NRMT photo numbered 66/350; although 350 were printed, far fewer were signed by Ali. Includes an LOA from Neil Leifer on the photo and from Thomas Hauser, who had Ali sign it in 1996. Comes with full letter from PSA/DNA.
