National Association All-Star Fielding Team Silver Glove Award
Trophy with front plate stating "Presented Annually to Each of the Nine Players Selected to the National Association All-Star Fielding Team," with Rawlings logos on each side. Wood base measures 17.25x6.25x0.75 at the bottom, with two smaller levels reaching the height of 6.25". Each side of the base has a holder for the enclosed silver-painted baseballs, and the centerpiece is a silver-painted Rawlings (of course) first baseman's glove which sets atop the center. Unfortunately, the nameplate is missing so we are unable to determine who won this award or when, but the bright silver finish to the glove and baseballs gives this a magnificent appearance. Awards is signed on the back by Rusty Torres. Torres played in the Yankee farm system from 1968 to 1971 when he made his debut in August 1971 with the NY Yankees. We are not saying this is his award but it is signed by Torres.
