NCAA 1985 National Basketball Championship Ring

NCAA 1985 National Basketball Championship Ring

The Jacksonville State Gamecocks began their 1985 season with a 61-60 loss, but then went on to win their next thirty-one games. In the NCAA Division II Championships, they played their way into the finals, defeating South Dakota State in a 74-73 nail-biter. This sample ring has Melvin Allen's name on it, whose superb game play earned him a berth on the 1985 All-Tournament team. The gold ring,10 karats, is marked on top “National / 1985 / Champions”, around a large central cz set upon a red cabochon. The left side is marked “Jacksonville...State...31-1” and is marked “Allen...NCAA...1...Champions...GSC...Champions”. The condition of this size 10 ring is NRMT.
