Despite winning 103 games, the 1954 Yankees finished in 2nd place behind the Cleveland Indians, who broke the '27 Yanks' AL record for most wins in a season with 111 victories. Once again, the offense led the way as the Bombers ranked first in the circuit in runs, batting average, total bases and slugging. This Reach Official American League (Harridge) baseball is slightly off white and has no defects. The signatures are in blue ink and grade 8/10 overall.
