This 22 x 19 3/4" mixed media painting by contemporary artist Peter Max, is a quintessential example of the artist’s work. This particular painting which uses acrylic paint and color lithography on paper was completed in 1999 and is titled New York Flower Show. The composition of the piece is stunning visually. The incredible use of what could be considered almost garish colors does an amazing job at conveying the idea that we are indeed looking at a variety of fresh flowers.
