New York Yankees Flag From Baltimore Memorial Stadium

New York Yankees Flag From Baltimore Memorial Stadium

Memorial Stadium arose in 1954, and was destroyed in 2001, much to the sadness to many fans who had spent many a game there, rooting for their beloved Baltimore Orioles. The new and beautiful Oriole Park at Camden Yards was opened in 1992, while the old Memorial Stadium stood about, awaiting its own demise. This New York Yankees nylon flag had hung from inside that “Old gray lady of 33rd Street,” along with all the other American League team flags. It is a reminder of that great stadium, the hotly contested games between the two franchises, and literally carries with it the spirit of those times. Measuring a whopping 8 ft. 2 inches x 5 ft. 1inch, it is simple in design, white with mostly red trim, and displaying “Yankees” in blue lettering. Despite some brown stains, it is in EX-MT condition.
