From 1967-76, the American Basketball Association gave the NBA a run for its money, with top-level stars like George Gervin, Julius Erving and Dan Issel, as well as the red, white and blue ball and 3-point line. This fabulous assemblage only underscores the league‚s magnitude and appeal. Included are an amazing collection of programs and pictorials: 1) MEDIA GUIDES (8) - No Punch holes: 1968-69 Kentucky Colonels, 1973-74 (Utah Stars, Carolina Cougars), 1974-75 (NY Nets, Indiana Pacers, Spirits of St. Louis, Denver Nuggets) and 1976 Denver Nuggets playoffs. 2) MEDIA GUIDES (14) - binder punch holes: 1971-72 (Dallas Chaparrals, Denver Rockets, New York Nets, Kentucky Colonels, Pittsburgh Condors, Utah Stars, Indiana Pacers, Carolina Cougars, Memphis Pros, Miami Floridians), 1972-73 (Utah Stars, Denver Rockets, Dallas Chaparrals) and 1973-74 New York Nets. 3) PROGRAMS (14): Eleven from the 1968-69 season with many pure ABA color variations.
