A stunning piece, this is from the 1970s "Sporting Boys" series by perhaps our greatest 20th century American painter. Splendid image of a cacophony of naive youngsters entangled like monkeys. Includes a gorgeous dark, dark signature and is numbered 60/2000, making this extremely difficult to find. Framed and double matted, overall 29" x 27". Norman Rockwell-signed sports pieces are just not out there in any great number.
