om Brady 1997 Michiganensian Experience Yearbook

Presented is the 1997 University of Michigan yearbook, and it's beautifully done. The greatest Tom Brady factor in the book is the irony that he only appears once - in the football team photo. Of course, now Brady is by consensus considered the GOAT, the greatest of all time in pro football. Yet, on the 1996 Michigan football team, Brady was the second string quarterback. The first string quarterback, Brian Griese, the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Bob Greise, played in 11 games and completed 175 passes for 14 touchdowns with five interceptions. He led the team to an undefeated season as Michigan finished 12-0 and ranked number one in the country by the end of the season AP Poll. Later, Griese would win a Super Bowl in the NFL. Meanwhile, second stringer Brady played in only four games, completing 12 of 15 passes for 103 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions. In the NFL, Brady is ranked as the all time leader in completions ((7,263), passing yards (84,520), and touchdown passes (624). He is a 7-time Super Bowl winner and a 3-time MVP. Yet, as a sophomore player at Michigan, he is not part of any write-up in the yearbook and merely appears in the team photo on page 155 - the only place his photo or name appears in the 448 page book, apart from the index. Of course, Brady would make more of a name for himself at Michigan, but as for Tom Brady as a sophomore, who knew? The very attractive yearbook is in NR-MT condition.
