Only Known 1972 Roberto Clemente Signed 7-Eleven Slurpee Cup (PSA)

Only Known 1972 Roberto Clemente Signed 7-Eleven Slurpee Cup (PSA)

Promotional cup issued by the 7-Eleven chain pictures Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente and includes a signature. Plastic cup has a color illustration of Clemente on one side, above which he has signed in blue ink; due to the plastic surface, some of the signature has been rubbed off, grading 5/10 overall. Opposite side has a 7-Eleven logo at top and a Pirates logo on bottom, with bio information in between noting Roberto's batting average from the 1971 season. That would date this promo item to 1972, Clemente's last before his tragic death in a plane crash following that season, making this a rare signed item.
