Orginal Walter Lantz Lilac Painting (Woody Woodpecker)
Not what you would expect from the creator of Woody Woodpecker. None the less, whether he was creating something to make you go ha! ha! or something to go ahhh, he sure could get the job done. Presented here is a lovely oil on canvas painting of an arrangement of lilac flowers set against a background of muted yellows. Lantz has signed the lower left of the painting and has stamped the verso of the canvas as well with his stamp claiming ownership of this uncharacteristic masterpiece. Framed and matted to 16 x 20".
