Original Celtics Team Signed Photograph
Recognized for their expert defense, the Original Celtics were primarily a touring squad who traveled up 150,000 miles a year competing in a nearly 200 game season. Offered here is a signed team photo along with a small signed photo of Nat Holman. From left to right, the players are Joe Lapchick, Chris Leonard, Dutch Dehnert, Pete Barry, Nat Holman, Johnny Witte, Johnny Beckman, and Eddie Burke. The photos were cut from a magazine and signed in blue ink that has changed to purple over the years. The signatures are strong but partially obscured by the player's bodies. The team was enshrined into the Basketball HOF in 1959.
