It is still considered one of the great upsets in pro sports history. This LeRoy Neiman serigraph captures a moment from perhaps the most pivotal game in NFL history and one of its most famed players, "Broadway" Joe Namath. The print is signed by Namath and the details are actually incorporated into the bottom left corner of this work, stating, "Super Bowl III - Jan 12, 1969 Miami - New York Jets 16 - Baltimore Colts 7 - The Handoff Namath to Snell." Depicted is a rendering of an oft-circulated photograph of running back Matt Snell accepting the exchange from the Hall of Fame quarterback and starting his foray toward the defense of the vaunted Colts. The item measures 50x42" with matting and frame and is numbered 149/350.
