<p>Wonderful original MASH artwork by celebrated artist Murray Olderman, whose columns and artwork appeared in 750 daily newspapers for the most part of 35 years. His work was distributed by the newspaper Enterprise Association, a Scripps-Howard syndicate. MASH ran from 1972-1983. The artwork depicts seven key cast members in the MASH finale "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen", one of the highest rated television episodes in American history and the most watched television show ever in the years 1983-2010. Portrayed in the artwork are: Mike Farrell as Captain B.J. Hunnicutt; William Christopher as Father Francis Mulcahy; Harry Morgan as Colonel Sherman T. Potter; Alan Alda as Captain Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce; Jamie Farr as Sargent Maxwell Q. Klinger; Loretta Swit as Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan; and David Ogden Stiers as Major Charles Winchester. The artwork also shows the iconic directional sign from the show and is labeled "M*A*S*H 4077th. 1972-1983. The rendering is signed by Olderman near the lower right corner. This is a beautiful remembrance, in Excellent condition, of a show that broke new ground as a superbly written and acted combination of comedy and drama, and a landmark show in American television history.</p>
