Original Penny Marshall Sweater From Laverne & Shirley

Original Penny Marshall Sweater From Laverne & Shirley

You can "make your dreams come true" by owning a piece of television history. From the smash TV Show "Laverne and Shirley" comes this red sweater with white trim worn by Laverne De Fazio (Penny Marshall), known for wearing tight sweaters and other clothing with her large trademark script "L" on the left side. The "L" here is black and attached to the left side. There are no tags on this petite sweater, which comes with an LOA. The show ran from 1976-83 and depicted two best friends from Milwaukee during the early 1960s who worked at the Shotz brewery, the other being Shirley Feeney, who was played by Cindy Williams. The program was a spin-off of ratings monster "Happy Days" as both girls were originally acquaintances of Fonzie. The two Tuesday Night staples helped vault ABC back to the top of the ratings heap in the late 1970s and into the '80s.
