Oscar Robertson NBA 50 Greatest Players Jacket and Photograph (Milwaukee Bucks)
Impressive leather jacket given to Oscar Robertson as part of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players. Only 50 were made and were given to the players during the 1996-97 All-Star Game festivities. The jacket features custom leather by Jeff Hamilton, whose patch can be found on the left sleeve, as well as an "NBA 50" patch on the left breast, Robertson's number "1" on the other sleeve, and "BUCKS" on the back. There is a size XXL tag in the collar, and the jacket comes with a 27.5x23.5" framed photo of the 49 greatest players (Pete Maravich, who was among the 50 nominated, was deceased) all gathered together wearing their jackets. This photo was also presented to Oscar as part of the honor, and he is pictured in the front row wearing this jacket. The jacket is in NM condition, with a beautiful purple body and white sleeves and accents. These jackets were commissioned by the NBA for the players only, and as such are incredibly difficult to come by. One presented to Nate "Tiny" Archibald sold for nearly $6,000 in 2012.
