Oversized Joe DiMaggio Smoking Photo (Type I)
Joe DiMaggio was a meticulous dresser, even when he was in the army and had his military uniforms personally tailored. Here the dapper Hall of Fame Yankee slugger is smoking a cigarette. Always careful to hide his smoking from fans, DiMaggio makes no effort to conceal his cigarette in this photo. Sadly, his smoking couldn't have helped his health, and in 1999 he passed away from lung cancer. Great quality photo from the Sherman Studio in New York City. (11x14").
