Pair of Roger Maris Signed Photos

Pair of Roger Maris Signed Photos

The pinstriped wonder that was right fielder Roger Maris packed quite a lot of legend into a few years with the New York Yankees. Though he would prove valuable to the St. Louis Cardinals late in his career, it was his years with the Yankees that all baseball fans will undoubtedly remember. In his first year with the Bronx Bombers (1960), Maris set the tone for his team’s era-ending World Series Championships of ’61 and ’62, with an American League MVP, while following that feat with his defining 1961 season where he notoriously surpassed Babe Ruth’s single season home run record, as well as hoisting his second (and consecutive) A.L. MVP. Two signed 8x10” Maris images are available here, one a framed and matted color magazine photograph of the legend at bat, signed in black (9/10) with a COA on back, and a second offering of a B&W publicity photo of Maris in fielding position, and signed (10/10) with blue sharpie.
