Pair of 1959 Floyd Patterson v. Ingemar Johansson I Full Tickets
Gorgeous pair of 1959 Patterson v. Johansson full tickets from the first of three bouts the two would contest. The fight, held on June 25 at Yankee Stadium, went in favor of Ingemar Johansson, who knocked reigning champ Floyd Patterson down seven times in the third round, forcing the ref to intervene. In winning, Johansson became the first World Heavyweight Champion from Sweden. These green Working Press tickets show no creases and only minor corner creasing; they are otherwise in EX condition. Interestingly, they explicitly state in two different locations under "Working Press" that ladies are not admitted - a conspicuous reminder that this was a different era.
