Pair of Beautiful Ted Williams 1939 Commemorative Signed Jerseys (Green Diamond)

Pair of Beautiful Ted Williams 1939 Commemorative Signed Jerseys (Green Diamond)

Beautiful pair of Ted Williams commemorative signed jerseys, signed by the last man to hit over .400, and a man who wanted to be "the best hitter there ever was." Many feel he succeeded. His .482 OBP is the all-time MLB highest, and his 521 lifetime home runs were done despite missing three seasons of his prime to World War II service, with almost another two full seasons in his prime missed because of his military service in the Korean Conflict. Both jerseys have a 1939 Centennial patch on the left sleeve. Beautiful 10/10 signatures on front, each signed with blue felt tip marker. Both neatly scripted signatures have the Ted Williams trademark, the large dotted letter "i". Jerseys are home Red Sox shirts with Ted's #9 on verso. Each certified by Green Diamond. Still have original tags. One jersey is a size large, and the other is a size extra large. Excellent condition.
