Pair of Confederate Notes $50 & $100
These notes were issued by the southern states during the Civil War (c. 1864). Each reads, "Confederate States of America" on the front. The $100 note bears the image of the only president of the Confederacy during the American Civil War, Jefferson Davis. He was also a Mexican War hero. His image became a symbol of the lost cause of the Confederacy after the Civil War. Condition is NRMT.
