Pair of Marilyn Monroe Framed Photographs (2)

Pair of Marilyn Monroe Framed Photographs (2)

It's been more than a half-century since we said "Goodbye Norma Jean," but America's biggest sex symbol still lives on through terrific images such as these shot in the prime of her life. One photograph, shot by Marvin Scott, is numbered 1/70, shows Marilyn riding an elephant at Madison Square Garden in 1955. It measures 16" x 17". The lot also contains a beautiful color photo of Marilyn in pig tails framed in white. It is a modern print (within the last 20 years). It measures 17" x 20". A great two-for-one of an American icon!
