Passes, Membership Cards and Wallet (7)
Someone once said you can measure a man's importance by the size of his wallet. Well, by that standard, Red Schoendienst was pretty darn important, seeing as though he had so many of them, each bearing credentials. Three press-pass wallets issued by the National League still hold passes from 1968 and 1974 granting him and his party access to any field or clubhouse in the circuit. The third is a "Special Section" credential from the Cardinals. This lot also includes a custom leather wallet from 1954 that is a beautiful piece of art. Inside it are Red's Stadium Club credit card (signed), as well as passes for the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame and St. Clair Country Club. The overall conditions are EX.
