Vintage World Series Film and Video Camera

Vintage World Series Film and Video Camera

As a player, Red Schoendienst only played in the postseason once as a Cardinal, winning the World Series in 1946. But he also won as Redbirds manager in 1964 and 1967, as well as in a coach's uniform in 1982. Included in this cinematic lot is Red's personal movie camera from the 1950s and '60s, vintage camera lights as well as eight reels of film footage (not shot by Red) used by the Cardinals for scouting and training purposes. The celluloid seasons include 1949, 1951, 1955, 1956, 1960, 1962, 1963, and "20 Years of World Series." This is vibrant, vintage footage that had been sitting in the Cardinals archives until now.
