Patrick Roy’s 2002 Olympic Training Camp Game Worn Jersey

Patrick Roy’s 2002 Olympic Training Camp Game Worn Jersey

The hockey world was stunned when Patrick Roy announced that he would not join Team Canada after his steller performance at the 2002 Olympic Training Camp in Calgary. Spectacular heavy weight white uniform by Nike sports the embroidered Canadian National Team logo on the chest with sewn “33” and “Roy” in individually-applied letters. A red stop sign patch with the word “Respect” sits above the numbers with the IIHF patch on the tail. Tagged in the neck in size 56 (photos from the event show Roy in this obviously-too-tight uniform, and this has been confirmed by team training staff) with custom widened arms. Decent wear with numerous black stick and puck marks and some post paint. Signed by Patrick on the back. With Letter of Authenticity from the Canadian Hockey Association.
