Patterson Vs Jackson Full Ticket (1956)
On June 8, 1956 at Madison Square Garden in New York Floyd Patterson and Tommy "Hurricane" Jackson met for the first time. This important fight was a title eliminator to determine who would fight Archie Moore for the vacant heavyweight title (vacated by Rocky Marciano). In a hard fought affair Patterson won a close 12 round split decision. he would win the title in his next fight. Offered here is a rare, original, full, unused ticket for the fight. This ticket names the fighters, date and venue and includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Minor edge and surface wear. Overall EX condition. Authenticated by PSA/DNA.
