On June 20, 1960 at the Polo Grounds in New York heavyweight champion Ingemar Johansson defended his title against the man he won it from a year earlier, Floyd Patterson. Patterson gained his revenge with a spectacular knockout in the sixth round to become the first man in history to regain the heavyweight title. Offered here is a rare, original, full, unused ticket for this historic event. This full ticket names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Clean. Not creased. Ticket exhibits slight fading and there is some back damage. Overall VG condition. Authenticated by PSA/DNA. A rare ticket from one of the most important fights in boxing history.
