The Official American League (Brown) baseball sits in a superb display cradle and is inscribed with, "6-28-95 off Derek Lilliquist - Toronto at Boston - 200th Career Homerun" spanning a side panel and the sweet spot, with his signature (all in black ballpoint ink) continuing on the opposite panel. Provenance is about is solid as it gets, as it is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Molitor and signed by the player himself. Though he reached the 200 homer plateau with the Blue Jays, Molitor is best remembered for his dominant tenure with the Milwaukee Brewers, for whom he played the first 15 of his 21 Major League seasons. Molitor totaled 2,683 games while compiling a .303 career batting average, making him one of the premier players of his era.
