Pedro Guerrero 1,500th Hit and Record Tying Homerun Baseballs (2)
First up is an Official (White) ball that Pedro Guerrero used to get his 1,500th Major League hit with. On the ball he wrote, "Pedro Guerrero, Career HH #1,500, Monday, May 13, 1991, off of Chris Hammond, Cincinnati Reds, Reds 000 000 0000, Cards 000 000 0001". The second baseball, an Official (Feeney) ball, Guerrero hit for his 15th home run in June of '85, which tied a Major League record. The ball says he shares the record with Kiner, Schmidt, Snider, and Ruth. Both signatures, in black ballpoint pen, are graded an 8/10 and come from his personal collection.
