On March 26th, shortly after being picked third in the 1970 draft by the Atlanta Hawks Pete inked the bottom line of these documents thus becoming one of the most highly touted and salried rookies to ever enter the game. This NBA "Uniform Player Contract" and Gaurantee Agreement, the first he would ever sign as a professional are now the most significant Pete Maravich signed pieces in existence. The UPC (EX), ten pages in total, is initialed "PM" seven times and fully signed twice in blue ink "Peter Maravich". Both signatures can easily be graded as "9" out of possible "10" based on there bold color and fantastic form. The Gaurantee Agreement (EX-MT) created by the Hawks organization owns four sets of blue ink initials and two more full signatures (one in blue felt tip). Almost as strong as the first pair, this set commands an overall 8/10. Additional signatures and initialings from Hawks co-Presidents, Robert and Thomas Cousins can be found throughout as well.
