Pete Rose 2,500th Career Hit Baseball

Pete Rose 2,500th Career Hit Baseball

Perhaps the single most controversial figure in baseball since the Black Sox era, what is indisputable is that Pete Rose also ranks among the best to have ever played the game. This Official National League (Feeney) baseball shows nice use from one of the milestone games in Charlie Hustle's march to the all-time record of 4,256 career hits. Rose recorded hit number 2,500 on August 17, 1975, off Bruce Kison in Cincinnati's 3-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Riverfront Stadium. This important milestone baseball came from the personal collection of Rose; on one panel, in his own hand, in faded black marker, is "Hit Off Bruce Kison" and on another panel is "2500 Hit Aug. 17th 1975 Reds vs. Pirates." Comes with LOA.
