Pete Rose 3,000th Hit Official Lineup Cards (3)

Pete Rose 3,000th Hit Official Lineup Cards (3)

Pete Rose needed two hits to hit the 3,000 mark entering his game against the Montreal Expos and wasted little time accomplishing the feat with a pair of singles against Steve Rogers. These lineup cards originate from that game; first is the large, lineup card from the Cincinnati Reds dugout, all filled out in Sparky Anderson's hand and dated 5/5/78. This hung in the Reds dugout with player changes made. Next is the copy of the Reds Official Batting Order, again filled out in Sparky's hand and signed at the bottom by Anderson. This is the opposing team's copy that gets exchanged prior to the game. Last is the copy of the Montreal Expos Official Batting Order, filled out in the hand of Manager Dick Williams and signed by him at the bottom; again, this is the smaller size opposing team's copy. These three amazing mementos average Very Good condition and are highly important and historic.
