Pete Rose 3,630th Hit Ball Tying Stan Musial for Most NL Hits - Gifted to Barry Halper (PSA)

A tremendous moment in baseball history comes to life in this ball signed by Pete Rose and gifted to memorabilia titan Barry Halper. The ball is from Rose's 3,630th hit, when he tied Stan Musial for fourth on the MLB's all-time hits leaderboard. Adding to its significance, the hit came off legendary flamethrower Nolan Ryan, who holds the Major League record for strikeouts. The ball is signed, "To Barry Halper, Best Wishes to My Friend, Pete Rose" and on the opposite panel Rose wrote, "3630 Hit, 6-10-81, Pitcher Nolan Ryan." Rose would go on to collect another 626 hits, and of course retire as the all-time leader in the category, leapfrogging baseball icons Hank Aaron and Ty Cobb in the process. During his career, Rose was named an All-Star 17 times, won three World Series, was named MVP once, won three batting titles and two Gold Gloves, but his name is one of the most conspicuous exclusions from the Baseball Hall of Fame due to Rose committing a cardinal sin: betting on the game. The ball is an ONL Charles Feeney and a surefire attention grabber on any mantle. Comes certified by PSA.
