Philip Morris Johnny Roventini Complete Suit

Philip Morris Johnny Roventini Complete Suit

One of the most important symbols in corporate cultural history, this is an actual suit belonging to Brooklyn native Johnny Roventini, the Philip Morris pitchman who shouted “Call for Philip Morris.” This 4-foot little person had a lifetime contract with the company and was also closely associated with Lucille Ball and the “I Love Lucy” television program. Philip Morris was their advertising sponsor. This is of incredible workmanship, and the quality is magnificent, from the bright gold buttons right down to the beautiful embroidery, epaulets and patches. It comes with jacket, pants and even the original bellboy’s cap. Brilliantly showdown box-framed and measuring 50x34", it makes a great display. This is an incredibly important piece of advertising Americana and is right up there with the Colonel Sanders white suit that sold for $80,000 at auction.
