Philippe Halsman Photgraphic Portfolio
This portfolio of noted twentieth century photographer Philippe Halsman's work features a portrait of Edward Steichen on its cover and includes prints of Halsman's portraits of Winston Churchill, Mai Zetterling, Albert Einstein, Bertrand Russell, and more. "A Portfolio of Photographs by Philippe Halsman (portfolio of photoreproductions, produced in Ky-vure by Kipe Offset Process Co." is from the 1950s; both the portfolio and the images within measure roughly 10.5x13.25". One of the "World's Ten Greatest Photographers," Halsman's images form a vivid picture of prosperous American society in the middle years of the twentieth century, according to the Smithsonian. The outer portfolio is VG; the 10 prints within are EX.
