Pittsburgh Pirates Street Pole Banners Including 1960 & 1979 World Series (6)

Pittsburgh Pirates Street Pole Banners Including 1960 & 1979 World Series (6)

Straight from the Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, these colorful examples of civic pride hung on the city streets of Pittsburgh. They include, from the 1979 World Series: "Pittsburgh Backs it's Pirates" and "World Series Champions." There are also flags from other years, such as "We Are Family" from 1981, "Give 'em a Thrill" from '82 and "You and the Bucs in '83." The oldest of the bunch commemorates the 1960 National League Champions, who went on to stun the favored New York Yankees in the Fall Classic. All of the large banners are two-sided but in EX-MT or better condition.
