Police Gazette Cabinet Photos (12)
One dozen cabinet photos of the most recognizable faces in boxing at the turn of the century include: John L. Sullivan (three different poses), Jack Dempsey, Joe Goss, James Mace, Jim Ward, Joe McAuliffe, Tom Allen, Ike Weir, Charles Mitchell, and Yankee Sullivan. Taken by, photographer and publisher of the <i>Police Gazette</i>, Richard K. Fox, each image is surrounded by a border of either black or brown and embossed in gold. The overall condition can be described as VG-EX, there is a piece of the border missing from the Ward and the Allen appears trimmed.
