Polo Grounds Crowd Original Glass Plate Negative
Original glass plate negative picturing a capacity crowd at the Polo Grounds during the early 1900s. It appears that the stadium is in the process of undergoing a renovation, and this image might date from just after the time when much of the stadium was destroyed by fire in 1911. The negative (7x5") remains in Excellent condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive.
