"Popular Sport" Baseball 1920s Baseball Punchboard-First We Have Seen

In the 1920s, punchboards provided a form of gambling as a customer paid a set price to punch one of the holes in the board and withdraw the paper within to determine whether they had won a prize. There were many varieties and themes, and this is the first we've seen of this type. Measuring 11 1/2 x 16", this board was created by Popular Sport and features winning amounts associated with various major leaguers, including Ruth, Vance, Hornsby, Foxx and many more. Less than 10 holes appear to have been punched near the bottom, the others remain intact. In addition, the back panel, where the "key" to the holes in front was generally contained, appears to be intact as well.
