Potsdam Big Three Conference Photo with Truman, Stalin and Churchill (1945)
The final Big Three leaders meeting taking place at Potsdam in a defeated Germany in 1945 is the subject of this (1945) wire photo. Photo is 8" x 10" and is in EX/NRMT condition with only a few minor waves in the paper. This was President Harry Truman's first and only Big Three meeting. It was the same for newly elected British Prime Minister Clement Attlee who replaced Winston Churchill after he was swept out of office in 1945 elections. Only Josef Stalin remains of the original Big Three of Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin.
